Giardini di Boboli
Found on the Boboli hill, between Pitti Palace and the Belvedere Fort, it is said to be one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy. Magnificent panoramic view of Florence. The Boboli Gardens, 1550-88, The entrance may be found in Piazza Pitti. Designs for the Italian style garden were begun by Tribolo and continued after his death in 1550 by Ammannati, and was created as part of the palace itself. The elaborate architecture of the Grotte was by Buontalenti. The gardens reached their actual size of 45,000 square metres in the seventeenth century.
